Improved agility, scalability and modernization. Proposed SAP Azure traditionally AER was an AWS customer. This was AER's first major project application migration on Azur.

Customer's Challenges before the project

The standard problems the Azure solves. High costs of on - primise hardware support. Opimization and automation. Noother partners involved; Initiated based on prior SAP relationship with the customer.
Performed eduction and discovery workshop hlighting the benefits of SAP on Azure of AWE.
Qnovate owned the relationship and drove the entire life - cycle(pre-sales, sales, project delivery). AWE was in the midst of going through a cost cutting intiative throughout thir IT organization and needed 3rd party aplication and infrastructure management support services.


How we delivered

We had a dedicated project manager working with AER throughout.The migration approach and solution we devised were discussed in detail during project planning phase and there was a detailed prohect plan developed with specific tasks and deliverables and ownership from all parties involved. bi - weekly project meetings toencure successful migration and to ensure no problems. AER team was new to the Azure platform so we had to educate them on the migration process and toolsets that Azure provides to ensure successful Project delivery.

Outcome

Cost reduction in operating expenses from on-premise hardware to Azure cloud of approximately 40%
Application Management cost asvings by more then 50%

We realize that our original scope started out with some challenges (especially with each region having a different process), but your team persevered with providing either an exact development needed, or coming up with solid solutions for processes that were not technically possible. I also greatly appreciate the willingness to work on the items to which we did not realize were needed (and capabilities not part of the original document) until after having access to the C4C system.


We had a call with the AMER sales team today and although we are currently only using the Product price & Manual price features, the overall feedback from the team is very positive particularly commenting they like the C4C system more than the CPD system. I am looking forward to rebate & sales quote training in the coming weeks in hopes the same feedback will be repeated.
